The short version: this website uses no cookies of ours, no analytics and no advertising. If you email us, we use your details to reply and, if we work together, to run the project. We never sell personal information.
Who we are
Yoghurt Digital Ltd (“Yoghurt Digital”, “we”, “us”) is a software studio registered in England and Wales, company number 13295779, with its registered office at 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about it at [email protected].
What this policy covers
This policy covers our website (yoghurtdigital.co.uk), emails and enquiries sent to us, and the work we do for clients. Our products have their own policies:

When you visit our website
We don’t ask you for any personal information on this website, and we don’t set cookies, run analytics or use advertising or tracking tools.
- Hosting. The website is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. It may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell people apart from automated bots. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Fonts. The website uses fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser downloads them from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address when it does. See Google’s privacy policy.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your name, email address and anything you choose to include. We use it to reply to you and to discuss your project. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps you’ve asked for before entering into a contract. Our email is provided by Google Workspace.
If you become a client
We use your contact, project and billing information to deliver the work, send invoices and keep our accounts. Our lawful bases are performing our contract with you and meeting our legal obligations, such as keeping tax and accounting records.
If a project involves us handling personal information on your behalf, for example your customers’ data in a system we build or maintain for you, we act as your processor under a separate written agreement.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with the service providers we need to run the business, such as Google for email, Cloudflare for website hosting, and our accountants and accounting software. We also share it with professional advisers, or with authorities where the law requires it. We never sell personal information or use it for advertising.
International transfers
Some of our providers, such as Google and Cloudflare, may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t lead to work: up to two years after our last contact.
- Client and financial records: six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as UK tax law requires.
- Website hosting logs: kept by Cloudflare for a limited time under its own policies.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you. You can also ask us to correct or delete it, to stop or restrict how we use it, and to send it to you or another organisation in a portable format. To do any of this, email [email protected]. We’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We’d be grateful for the chance to put things right first.
Keeping information safe
We keep only the personal information we need, and we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it.
Children
Our website and services are aimed at businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
